This year's Color of the Year, Mocha Mousse by Pantone is a perfect blend of warmth, richness, and earthiness.
In interiors, this color can bring an inviting, calming, and sophisticated feel to your space. Whether used as a wall color, accent piece, or styling detail, it’s a versatile choice that reflects where design is headed—more intentional, expressive, and emotionally connected.

Color psychology plays a pivotal role in shaping the ambiance and functionality of interior spaces. Strategically chosen hues can influence emotions, behaviors, and even physiological responses, enhancing the overall living experience.
90% of first impressions are based on color — people judge spaces in under 90 seconds. Blue hues boost creativity and focus, making them ideal for workspaces.
When selecting colors for a room, consider:
Room Functionality: Align color choices with the room's purpose. For instance, use calming colors like blue in bedrooms and vibrant hues like red in dining areas.
Natural Light: Factor in the amount of natural light a room receives, as it can affect how colors appear and influence mood.
Project Highlight!
After relocating from out of state, this young family settled into a charming 1930s home on the Philadelphia Main Line.
With more rooms than they had before, they needed help bringing function and personality to each space.
Together, we refined their style vision and transformed an underused area into a multifunctional gem — complete with a chic bar, extra seating for entertaining, a cozy chess section, and a stylish yet practical back entryway.
ISbyD provided a full service, white glove interior design experience — from the first concept to the final reveal.
We began with a digital layout to optimize functionality, followed by 3D renderings that brought their vision to life with the colors, textures, and materials planned for the space.
We handled every detail: purchasing and tracking products, managing the budget and timeline, overseeing installations, and coordinating a seamless moving day. The project was staged to perfection before a joyful final walkthrough with the clients.
